    ok seriousness here jokesters.

I have a 5 gallon hex tank.  Nothing special.  But who has an idea as to something good to put in it.  small stuff that would be perfect.  And who has some they are willing to sell or donate to my tank.  Its in my babys room.  close to his bed.  he loves my fish tanks so i put him a little one in close.   it serves as a night light and fish tank. but right now only thing it is is a night light..  its fully cycled and all.  been up for like 4 months.  had fish but they have since came out.  so any ideas and fish please let me konw.  thanks

I have some guppy fry that I can give you.  Nothing too too fancy - but they can grow up with your baby :)

Just a couple of ideas...I don't have any of these.

            Dragon Fish
            Albino clawed Frog
            Black Ghost
Schooling group of Neon(or other type) Tetras.
            KilliFish
            Blue Crayfish

Things that would be noticed and work in a 5g.

Guppies sound good for your tank. And if you get all males, you won't have too many in there in about a month or two.

Black ghost? Dragon fish? Why not an oscar?.

I'd put a betta in it.

                      Re: stocking help

                      probably 5 or 6 max.

try to leave an open area in the tank to encourage them to school.

Dunno, but you probably won't see much (if any at all) schooling behavior in a 5 gallon...

What about a bunch of micro rasbora?  Or harlequins?  They are small and very colorful....
