There used to be a place called Fish Ranch at Larkwood (Bellaire) and 59.  This place changed its name to 1-800-Seahorse.

When Charles opened up his store in Rosenberg, he registered the name in both Harris County and Fort Bend.  His store is actually the only Fish Ranch around now.  The other place near Sharpstown still has the sign Fish Ranch on their door, but they no longer do business as that.
This is what is confusing.

The link does not work I see.. because it looks like the server took some downtime.. ie right now its not responding to port 80 requests nor is it responding to port 53 (ping) which tells me that the server most likely is down.

The site was up in the last 24 hours because I have them in my history file, going to their site sometime Saturday.

I am sure that once Charles sees this he will fix the problem :)

When Charles was there I thought the place was good.  The tanks where clean and live stock in good health.  I went there two months after he left, and I found the  tanks looking like they where left like they where when Charles left.  I have not been there in a few months and I am sure by now someone has done something about the place and made it look better.

Personally I goto City Pets the most because they are RIGHT around the corner from where I work and therefore easier for me to get to.
I am not always in agreement with their stock but I have not bought fish in a while from there.
I pick up parts and other small things from there.

i used to only go to aquarium world, that got old fast bc of the extremely high prices though. city pets is good, they seem to have way more stuff than aquarium world even though theyre much smaller. prices are still high imo. rcs are $2.99 a peice there ($3.99 at aquarium world) but i got 15 for $10 from thomas lol

I went to see Charles Friday.  I was impressed by his stock.  He has some fish you won't find anywhere else of extremely cheap prices.  If I wasn't still playing catch up after the Spirit episode, I surely would have taken some of them home.  I liked the brichardi like fish, and the geophagus (sp?) he had.  
Just on a side note and not to jack the thread:
I'm sure Charles won't mind ;-) (um, if he does I'll delete it ;-))

I recommend everyone visit Charles in Rosenburg... I personally enjoyed the trip.

Just and idea....I didn't see any list of plants.  It would be great if you could include a list of the plants that you are keeping. Thanks.

The site seems to be up and running....don't know what happened earlier. As for plants...stay tuned. And they were Geophagus sp. "setetquedas"

I might stop by the store on Saturday to pick up some plants....I just ordered new lights for my nano so I'm planing to trash the scape I got now and do a complete make over.
