Yeah, I saw this ad a few days ago, although, to me, it's a nice looking tank, I'm not into salt so it didn't rock my boat. I was impressed with the price tag though, anytime some one lists a fish tank, er...excuse me, Aquarium for that much money, it will get your attention.

There is a whole write up on the building of this monster on Reef Central if my memory serves me correctly.  He also has it listed on MARSH, it's HUGE to say the least.

There is a right up on RC as well as being listed on MarshReef.....I saw it in person during the NW tank tour.....the tank a f'ing awesome!

The controller itself cost about half of the asking price and the kicker is that it hasn't even been offered to the public.

whats crazy to me is that someone paid that much for something at all. i dont want to spend that much on a car let alone a fish tank. lol. but if you have lots and lots of cash lying around i guess you can go ahead and get that tank. but it does look pretty cool. my guess is that it cost him 20-30 k to build it. everything included and what he is asking isnt that bad for that kinda setup. but custom is usually harder to sell because you did get kinda what you wanted, and other poepl have different ideas of what they want in a tank that size.

Really depends what your into. I have friends that collect cars like Vipers, Vettes,motorcycles and other toys.  Its just what some people are into. If I had one single hobby.....my life would be simple to say the least but I would invest in to a premier tank setup like this. I am just stupid and into 100 different things so I have to spread it out.

I saw this too. I am sure the picts just dont do it justice. There will be some lucky person out there. Just hope they take the time to reset it back up just as nice. would be a shame for it to go to waste.

Well he posted saying it was sold not too long ago and now he is offering up all the equipment and rocks.
