Not exactly fish but....

Hi All,

Here are some of my freshwater dwarf shrimp. I started messing with keeping and breeding over a year ago and quickly became hooked. These are Golden Bee Shrimp (Caridina cantonensis)



These shrimp do have special water requirements and need softer water with a PH of 6.3 to 6.8 and temps around 72 F. These are amazing little creatures as well as the fact they come in many colors.

sd, welcome to the box, very nice shrimp, wish i had a tank for shrimps, i think i will add some anyway to my community tank

You might as well tell EK where you got them if he already doesn't have a group of them ordered....LOL!!!

Could you post a full tank shot?  I love the scaping in the little picture and would love to see the total package.

How do you keep the temp at 72, do you use a chiller?

I got a couple from Max Tsai coupla weekes ago. They are my favorite  

Do you have any idea what happens if they cross with CRS?
I have mine with CRS at the moment and i don't know if i should have a separate tank for them.

They do!  

The whole sulawesi shrimp craze had me going but then the mess that happened with quite a few people quickly turned me off of them till a more stable source happens.  :(

I have a shrimp room and the room has AC to keep temp at 72 degrees, I use heaters in the tanks with more tropical species.
