Minimum Tank Size: 1000 US gallons (4000 liters) (Don't agree with this, I think as long as it has at least 36" turning room from front to back you could go with a 300-500 gallon tank with no other tank mates and extra filtration.)

But you could put other large fish in with the MBU. So a 1000 gallon could be a community tank with the MBU as the main focus. A fahaka tank is gonna be a Fahaka only tank, especially when it gets over a foot.

Fahaka only is fine with me. Thats all I have in my tank now anyway.
