    Storm Coming

    Tropical storm/minimal hurricane slated to hit here on Mon night/Tuesday morning

    Don't know if delock ever came through with the air pumps....but Academy has a cheap version last I checked that operates on "D" cell batteries.

    60 tanks at home....couple hundred at work....hope this doesn't turn into more fun than I should be allowed to have.

    That's the beauty of Bettas- no electricity needed. Hopefully this doesn't turn into more than a little rain.
    So many things can be a mystery, when all we're seeking is freedom...

          I have already fired up the deep fryer and have batter ready.....if they seem like they are not gonna make it through the storm there is no reason for them to go to waste.

                  And i'm hotter then fish grease right now.

                  Like Charles said Academy does have some that runs on d cell batteries. I have a couple if someone need one or two

                    I don't think my tiny one will keep a 100 gallon going, maybe I'll head over to Academy myself.

                            Here in Galveston, the ocean is calm...very few small waves.
                            It always creeps me out when the ocean is almost absolutely calm.  8O
