Anyone working tomorrow?
The Federal Buildings will be closed tomorrow, however, I have to go in and place giant blue water weenies around the doorways to protect us incase of a flood. Yes. a flood.

Well this is really silly because people are panicing like its going to be another New Orleans. Like the galveston wall is going to fall down and the water poor in and flood everywhere.
I did hear them say that it was moving slow and may see 10" of rain. I know the power will go out as one single drop can hit the ground here in humble and the power goes out.There is no "normal" life, it's just life so get on with it.

yeah nick i know what you mean there buddy.....
my company closed all our outer clinics tomorrow....we did all the prep work today....it was a pain....
we better get something out of this one....
but i don't want it to hit until 10 am.....
that way some people that have to work tomorrow will make it there safely..... :wink:Comment

My husband has to work tomorrow - so it will just be me and my kids home alone. If the power goes out they will drive me CRAZY LoL!! My daughter is scared of thunder...add to that the darkness of no power, no TV, nothing to do, stuck in a hot house...I dont even want to think about it. 8OComment
