empty 210....

i have a well cycled 210 just waiting for fish,,, full of holey rock with alage growing 6in plus of the rock... crystal clear water.... plenty of water movement  2 2250 1 110 aquaclear 1 biowheel 400 and 1 1280 powerhead.... so the next question is what to put in.... does anyone have any ideas... looking for african cichlids but something that everyone doesnt have... also must be able to get a colony so i can try to breed them.... really running out of ideas for fish, was thinking about petros or troph but just cant find the right fish or enough of the right fish to start a colony... i can find one fish here and there  but looking for more than one fish...any help would be appricated and if you have something for sell please pm you never know that might be the colony that strikes my eye.... thanks mickey carroll

Dude...the poloydons is a good start...plus I know where 8 more to give you a oolony of 17.

What size colony are you looking for? when it come to petros you will not find a lot of huge colony for sale unless you willing to pay 70 or more for a fish....unless you want the common petros

Moshi Mpimbwe....Stas on Trophs has like 20of them I believe.
Same person also has Red fin longola, kasumbe, Famula and  Tricolor.

You need to broaden your search area cause if you limit yourself to Houston alone....well you are gonna get what everyone else has. Also be prepared to shell out some money....nobody is gonna give you much for free.

Put up or shut up.....think that's the phrase appropriate. Anything can be in that tank as long as your heart/wallet desires.

your right poloys are cool,,,  but i was looking for like moshi or long red fin or blue .... do you know where there are some colonys of petros i would like from 10 to 15 depending on aggresion and time together...  i was really looking for some advice on how many and what types and if some does have something different then for sure interested.. thanks delock for the help

Dude...poly are like the rarest of the rare and you can get a colony for less then a grand.

but if your wallets are deep go long for the moshi and red fin.....good luck on finding a colony for less then a grand.

I feel you on getting what you want but you have to remember you are asking for two petros that are not cheap.

Alex sold his moshi and Red fin for a min of $100 each the last time they came in so...... and they were not eating

come over this week and look at the poloydons...trust me if they breed for you a path will be beating down to your door.

+1 on what delock said.....the Ratios coming in lately have been super poor from what I have been seeing. IME, dealing with petros you want whatever odds to be in your favor.
