Best sinking cichlid food for the money

What is everyone's opinion on the best sinking (I have an overflow) pellet for a mixed african cichlid tank with Synodontis catfishes??  I need to order some soon and I'd like to do a bulk quantity to save money and time.  Anybody ever feed theirs dry dog food?  The best for the price is what I'm looking for here.  I also throw in shrimp pellets during feedings to ensure that the catfish get some food, as well.

a sinking crumb like pellet from J&J Aquafarms, their part number is CR45.  Tatoo turned me on to it last year, every fish I have fed it to, loves it. It is like 14.00 shipping included for 3 pounds.

I soak pellets in a shot glass of aquarium water before feeding and that helps.

of course the NLS and Dainichi are ten times the cost of CR45, but it is good stuff, and especially good for bringing out the color in fish.

They come in nice resealable buckets.

Hit up Dan at HAW.....it's like $45 or something like that but don't quote me on it.

Just called HAW.  They should have the 5 lb buckets of NLS in on Wednesday.
