  • Has anyone ever used AquaTerra 3D Backgrounds ???

I have been looking at the website and this seems like a very good way to go. My tank is drilled and I could put one of the 3-D scapes in to act as an overflow box . This would also hide all the plumbing and be a very manacured tank.   I was thinking of the 120g that is 48x24x24". This has enough depth so the background wouldnt take up so much room.

If you have had experience with these please let me know your thoughts. These are pretty expensive just to roll the dice.    Also if anyone knows of a LFS that has some or a few of these that would be even better.

24x48" is about $120 and up depending on the background. It would be so worth it for me since I am not a professional aquascaper or even close to it.

If that is close to being the total, with shipping and all....that would not be that bad for that background...I would pay it.

Chris.. I saw the background thing you are looking for at Fish Gallery..
Interesting, but I dont know if I want to spend that much for just a back ground.

you could try something like this http://www.cichlid-forum.com/article...background.php

if you built up some areas thick enough, you could build it up and hollow out the thick sections to do what your talking about.
