  • Buffing acrylic tank

I picked up an acrylic tank few days ago, There're a fair amount of scratches inside & outside.
I wet sanded the scratches with 2000grid sand paper. I'm not too worried with the inside cause once it's filled with water it should be clear.

what kind of polishing compound or solution is best to use on the outside ?

the tank is my 300g acrylic.               that's how I found out it would work on my tank from using it on the plane.            EK - planes are like fish tanks -- you can't have just one.

its cycling now. water is still foggy but we'll see in a day or two.
well the stand is already ugly as it is. i might just paint it and change the doors.
