I bought a computer batteryback up from circuit city for $80 and it will run my wisper 100 for 4 days non stop

For those interested, Walmart also sells the battery powered bait pumps. 2 D cells like the ones at Academy. 7 bucks each. Before the last storm I bought 8 pumps and 48 D cells.

I called academy they have 5 different kinds from $9-$28 a piece. I'm thinking about getting the battery pumps and turning them on before we leave and when we get back hook up the generator. I'll have to check wal-mart also. Thanks for the tips. My hubby is leaving for Dallas in the morning or tonight to take his parents out of town. We will probally leave Sunday morning unless there is some possible blessing that this storm won't come our way.

i've just decided i'll give my fishies mouth to mouth if needed..when the batteries wear out on me...

My hubby bought me a generator today!      He won't admit it but he love's my fishies! We got everything set up and we are ready to go!

you know they are all tough on the outside but really teddy bears on the inside.....
