Power been flickering here on and off for the past 45 mins.....DAMN I just heard something explode!

My tanks are on battery back ups for 30mins now.

It should last through the night which I hope we have power back on before then.


The in-laws are down the street from CF on eldridge and they are fine....slight winds, lights flicker but still powered.

The winds are getting crazy by me and I saw the tree across the street fall.

Winds here just picked up.
Temperature fell by .5 degrees in a couple of seconds.. now 79.7 outside on the weather station.
I am wondering what else will be next... still expecting it to a lot worse soon.
Hopefully everyone is doing well right now :)

Delock, its traveling up I45 and I'm not too far from you....

Just ran extension cords for the generator.....lets hope I don't have to turn it on just yet.


I will say that this little tunze is a BEAST! Been on backup for like 45mins now and almost no drop in battery voltage.





Just a heads up for those without power running canisters.......those things are gonna be an ammonia pumps if powers out for a good amount of time.

We've had the power flickering for the past hour or so.  This is going to be a long night...going around checking each and every tank and filter making sure they all come up okay is getting old already.  Some limbs have come down outside, but nothing too extreme.  And it's been drizzling for a little while now too.

But I am thankful to still have power for the time being.

reporting live from galleria area, over here a lot of wind with no much intensity at 130 am.
all my guppys are alive and well i still have electricity, and hopefully nothing will happen , good luck to all the fishy
friends.

Well the eye is going over the ship channel more on the 59 side quoc from info i'm looking at

also over 1 million people are with out power

I'm at Eldridge and Tanner, 77041..winds are increasing substantially and lights flickered once. Hope to make it with power to morning.

Goodmorning.. its 4:07am.  Still full power.. and the winds are whipping around here.
I see no damage, but I have not looked outside.
I see from the radar that the eye is now on the east side of Houston.
I am in zip code 77450
