Houston water is declared safe - still - we probably want to use extra dechlorinator and such.

I lost a few more fish, hoping the rest will survive.  I am planning on changing water tomorrow.

Kris - Be careful with your water.  We were at Nick's today - Meyerland - and his water showed 10ppm Ammonia.

We took all our batteries and our battery powered air pumps to him so he's good for now.  He took a pretty good hit, but I'll let him tell you about it once he's back online.  We are fostering a few of his fish now, but we're still okay on tank space.  So if anyone else needs to house some fish, we have the room.

Steve and I are fine...we lost power until midday sunday when only half of our complex got their power restored, we are on the lucky half..the other half still has no power...there is lots of roof damage, trees down and several new entrances to our complex..no damage to our unit though..no fish loss, just an extremely sweaty 3 year old and a fried modem..oh yeah, we just found out Steve lost his comic book collection due to flood water at his parents house  

just got our internet back up and running today..TVMAX brought us a new modem pretty quick, took them a day..Mary Beth is fine..still has no power and is on her way over to have a few beers and borrow our bubblers until hers comes back on...Hope everyone else is ok...If anyone knows someone in my area that needs help please let me know...Juicy

I do not know, I was able to get her on the phone for about three seconds, just long enough to hear her voice. This was either sunday or monday. I know she is alive, I pray she is well. The police chief has my phone, it may be a bit before I can get it back.

Has anyone heard from or about Ken and his family? He lives in Hitchcock, and I am concerned.
He had so many fish outside in 50 gallon barrels, and has years of work there.
