Howdy,

Saturday night it looked like the storm track was going to be along the west coast of Florida.  I am hoping that it stays south and blows into Texas or Mexico.  We will know more in two days.  UTMB and many folks are watching Ike closely.  Later, ken

I am essential employee...  I cannot evac from Houston

So I will be at the house with my cans... well BBQ grill, food etc...
I imagine there will be people at my house this weekend :)

You'd be suprised what has to get shutdown, when they say hurricane is coming, and its like got to be shutdown in 3 or 4 days.

Yeah UTMB is already saying that they will let non-essential employees off by wed afternoon.....but the rest of us grunts will be awaiting all the rig a ma ro that comes with batting down the hatches for all the computers, vaccines,....you know the important stuffs..... :? ......
i'm just upset it may delete my fishing trip on saturday.....i'm increadibly upsetttttttttttttttttt......... :evil:
