anybody ever use a blacklight

i gotta ask just because, has anyone ever used a blacklight in ther aquarium and if so what does it do or not do, also the blue actinic lights i see that some people have put them in there aquariums also now i know that they are for saltwater but do people just do it for the color, and also the blacklights and if so are the colors better and with which one.

Sorry about not getting any response.  :?  I read somewhere that black light is bad for the fishs' eyes. Not sure if this is true. I have never tried black lights.

Depending on the colors of the fish it will give a blacklight effect, somewhat. Normally used with saltwater.
