I don't know, but I am always hesitant to use things that don't specifically say "safe for aquarium use" or something similar. Is yours a glass aquarium? How bad are the scratches?"Millennium hand and shrimp!" -

I bought some of this stuff at Walgreens and tried it on some sunglasses, but I wasn't very impressed. Of course it was for my eyesight, not an aquarium, but I'm not sure I would try it on a tank.Comment

sounds like a solvent.
like the stuff that glues the plexiglass pieces together.
I would guess that once it is dry it would be OK
