I went in to feed fish this am and 1 blood parrott is gone. moved all the rocks looked everywhere..kinda stressed,he cant just walk away! one last thing Ive got a big conk shell moved it-nothing.About to call 911! decided to take it out of water and check when the water stARTED DRAINING it made a vacume and a catfish(?) came out and then my parrott! What Im trying to figure out is this--was he stuck way up in there and I saved him or was he hanging out and I interupted him??? Anyway now the interesting thing..the other parrott is following him everywhere and it looks like they are kissing and spinning in circles. I always seem to end up with crazy animals so anything is possible...my cat takes showers,Lab dog will only ride in truck if I seat belt him,my big dog sleeps in the hot tub with his head on the deck...this sort of stuff so why would I even think Im going to have a normal fish-right/ Let me know what u think about the fish in the shell...Jack

Re: Missing Fish!
My personal opinion - I think that the other Parrot was picking on him, and he went in the shell to hide. The behavior that you described sound more like aggression than mating to me...
...Or you could just have a Parrot that likes shells...Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
