Alright so i was part of the danumber.... group buy and got 10 more ulwiles to add to my colony. i have got two fish that look nothing like the rest of my ulwiles. one of them is always colored up like this and the other one is completely black untill it decides to color up. I was eating dinner and starring at a completely black fish then all of the sudden like a light switch was turned on it decided to color up just like the other fish. Then in a matter of seconds went completely black again. I've got a couple other ones that are completely black as well and im interested to see if it turns out like these. I am thinking that it is a Tropheus annectens (Kekese) or a Tropheus annectens (Lumbye). let me know what you think. also know that this fish is full size. 4-5 inches.

Re: guess this fish!
if they all four of them look like this after they get comfortable and color up then yes im okay with it. they are pretty incredible looking. There eyes are much brighter blue then the rest of my fish. in the first picture at the bottom right you can see another one not colored up. look at the yellow spot on his cheek.I love my Fahaka "Peter" puffer.

Re: guess this fish!
We're all starting to find out that we may have some Annecten in our Ulwile order. The thing is that I don't think anyone that's handled these fish before could tell. I certainly couldn't when I was splitting them up earlier today - especially not knowing to look for a different variant of fish.
I think these guys have flown below the radar, through 4 sets of hands! (Exporter, Importer, Will, Myself) and were never picked up on..
Either way, this is definitely a silver lining in today's order.Experiencing an aquatic renaissance!
