    Re: guess this fish!

Good question. He's been up front and handled everything as any professional would. The Annectens were just completely unexpected, but due to their popularity, have not been an issue at all.

          Sounds good!

I'm in need of some metro myself. Just helped a friend fight off bloat.

Where did you buy your metro from?

I recommend the SeaChem brand of Metro. You get 3 full doses for a 135g tank for just 10 bucks.

That is a female Red Cheek or a Korongwe Male juvie.

                      Re: guess this fish!

The water is not cloudy.  Im pumping tons of O2 into the water to revive the fish after their tramatic journey.  I was looking at some pictures of mpimbwes and i didn't see any with the eyes of these fish.  Do the mpimbwe differ alot between males and females?  Thanks shawn.

                        Re: guess this fish!

Ok. well i looked at the pic of a sp. mpimbwe juvie and i think that is what it is.  It doesn't have the forked tail of an annecten.  althought it is a large fish to be a juvie.  idk?

                            Re: guess this fish!

Im sorry, the water looked cloudy in your last pic.  Are the fish in the last pics yours or Semper's?

The Mpimbwe changes colors from Juvinile to Adult.  Those pics your posted of the mystery fish look exactly like Mpimbwe juviniles.  I got tons of them if you want more.

THe fish I have seen at Traci's and the fish I've seen in these photos in this thread are Ulwile and Mpimbwe Juviniles/Females

                              They are not Annectens.

Geoff, when you saw them yesterday were you suspect immediately that they weren't Ulwile?
