Anyone heard of an aqurium builder called Ocean Atlantis Aquarium Design and, if so, do you know anything about the quality of their tanks? Also, do they sell directly to the public?

I have a 70g from Ocean Atlantis. They are local here in town.
City Pets, Fish Ranch and many other carry their products..
They are good tanks, at least in my opinion, but I have only seen smaller and a few large tanks made by them.
There are several people here who uses them.

I had two Ocean Atlantis tanks, and both of them developed lose trim after a few months of service.....I fixed both tanks myself with some silicone. It was not a major issue to me, but I do believe the company has gotten better with there construction methods since then.
To be honest, I did find some sloppy silicone work inside one of the two OA tanks I had, but again, after seeing new tanks on display in local fish stores, I do believe they have improved their overall assembly process by 100%.
I would look over any tank that I was going to purchase closely, regardless of the manufacturer.

Wow, thanks for the quick responses. I have not seen a tank from them in a store. The tank I saw was fairly large at 60x18x20 which is close to the size I want (60x18x24).
Does anyone know if they sell direct to the public? I guess I could just call them. I found their phone number on the internet. It does not appear as though they have a website.Comment

I bought a hex from them. After a couple months of use, the bottom just cracked. I have no idea what caused it. Anyhow, I called them to see if I could pay them to fix it. I figured I had done something wrong so I took fault for it. They said they would do it for free. I dropped it off at City Pets. OA picked it up from there and brought it back in a matter of days. Not a dime charged.
I have no complaints. They seem to be a company that stands behind their product.Comment
