i saw one of those guys on the cover of Drs. foster & smith catalog and didn't know what it was, but they are so cool looking. thanks for the post now i know what im looking for.

if anybody is interested... I found two of these at $40 each at 4". It would cost you $65 for one. that would be paying for your fish and splitting the shipping with me.

newb - Have you tried contacting Yankeejack over at www.allthingsdempsey.com? He is a reputable EBJD dealer with quality fish. Do you have pictures of the fish that you are going to get? Have you heard of the indivual or company that you are ordering from? If they are quality EBJD, that is a pretty decent price!

thanx, they are definatly a major commitment, but if you can pull it off, definatly one of the most awesome and gorgeous cichlid out there (IMO) atleast as far as SA/CA cichlids go :) they grow really slow, i got him at 2.25"tl, and in the 19 months  i had him, he only reached 6.25"tl.  but still my fav
