I was stupid last night and decided to feed my black ghost knife after having a few drinks and I left his frozen bloodworms out on the counter. Â would they be alright to stick back in the freezer and refreeze or do I need to toss them and go back to petsmart and get some more? Â They are in the individual plastic pockets with the foil that you have to pop out the back.

Re: frozen bloodworm question
I would not chance it, bloodworms can go bad quickly if completely thawed and warm for too long (and smell absoulutely revolting). Â
I'd rather toss a package of BW's rather than deal with sick fish. Â Dan at HAW sells the 16oz sheets at a great price.
Dang it another edit   :  Don't feel stupid, I've done the same thing before.  Now I buy the 16 oz flats and only break off what I need while at the freezer, then toss the package back in.  And they are much  cheaper to buy that way.Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...

Re: frozen bloodworm question
Ok, I couldn't afford the box store prices with as much as mine go through. Â And...
I always can a find a reason to go to HAW, this is just one of the more believable ones.Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...

Re: frozen bloodworm question
I've done the same thing. Â If it was just a couple hours and they are still cool, I still use them. Â If it was longer than that and they are totally melted, I cuss at myself and throw them away. Â Now I do like szidlon and just buy the big flat packs from Dan. Â In fact, last time I just bought a 1/2 case...it's all that would fit in the freezer. Â :)Our Fishhouse
