    Re: Bloodworms?

I think with the cold weather most of my bloodworms died.  :(  But, I fed some to my wild bettas, and they liked them.
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

Awww, sorry to hear that  :( .

Maybe when, and if, the weather becomes more stable, you'll have more success.  But, at least your bettas got a treat  :) .
Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...

Yeah. I have that blue and white filter media and that's what they were in. I think I'll put more of that in a bucket and grow more worms.

          Howdy,

The cold should not have killed the blood worms, mine make it through the winter with out any trouble.  Maybe you could write a paper about them for school credit.  It would be harder to figure out how to make it into a science fair project.  As Phisphreek said daphnia would make a better science fair project.

If you lost your blood worms and still want to grow some I could give you some or just put some old fish water outside in a 5 gallon bucket and maybe throw in some hornwort or anarachis.  Check the bottom of the bucket in a few weeks and you should find them living in their tube houses.  Very easy to raise with out trying and the fish love them to eat!  later, ken

Thanks for the offer But I'm good. I'll try growing them again.
