I need some advice.
I have a 75g tank with Daffoldils. I love these fish. I've discovered they like small water changes and nothing LIVING at the bottom of the tank. So every now and again I gotta do a little aquascaping to clean their tunnels and rocks. Whenever I do this there is always one fish who decides to hitch a ride. They skulk around the tank in a darker color (I've watched them do it.) And when they get their chance they swim inside whichever piece of hollowed out decoration I'm removing and they make it out of the tank. I'm usually good about catching them and shaking them out. Every once in awhile like today. i got my three little kids hollering at me, the phone is ringing, or someones at the door and I lose sight of the ninja fish. Well I got everything cleaned up and put back in. I've made a head count and I'm short one..ninja fish. He's probably stuck in one of the decorations completely dead. However, one of the other fish will probably do this in the future.
What do you all do when you get ride along fish. Any tips suggestions would be appreciated.
