Phishfreaks contact is Patrick at Jungle Jims in Texas City 409-986-6419; talked with Patrick about them today, they come in on Tuesdays and he does not like to keep them at the store past Wednesday.
I have Spots phone number but don't know if she wants me to hand it out, but she is very good about answering PM's.
Hopefully I am back up with raising daphnia again, got a small start from the Fish Gallery where Phishfreak found them. later, ken

Do not order from Wormman.com, he is no longer shipping blackworms but he is keeping the customers money that order them. Dan at aquatic foods was shipping Wormman's blackworms but Wormman burned him like he is burning many of his customers. Dan offered to give me a special rate that is much cheaper than what is on Aquatic Foods website, he told me he would also offer it to any members of the Houston Fishbox that were interested. You can contact Dan at blkworm@aol.com if interested.
So i ordered 1/2 lb of blackworms from aquatic foods. They have nice deals for first time buyers. But subsequent orders will have to be 3/4 lbs and above . (or really at least 1lb to make it worth it per order)
I have had no problem keeping California Black Worms for up to a month. I use worm keeper from aquatic foods. I would order 1# and put them in 4 worm keepers, 2 keepers each in plastic shoe boxes from wallyworld. If they start to turn grey they are going bad and you should not feed them to your fish. You can add a little milk to their water for food and add a few goodies for gut loading. They will try to crawl out if they don't have enough oxygen so you need to rince them off and change their water daily and keep them in the refrigerator or out in the winter cold.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
Arghhhhhh.... i think i over-did it!
I didn't think 3/4" of worms was going to be THAT much!
I'm using 2 worm keepers + 2 more tupperwares. All that to feed 3 altums!
[s:b4ce5287e3]If anyone wants to buy small quantity of blackworms... send me a pm.
What's a reasonable price... $1 a tablespoon???[/s:b4ce5287e3]
Edit: Wow.. that was quick. Found somebody to take my extras.
Again.. if anyone wants to split the next order, i'll be more than happy to do so.
