    Re: ? About Silver Arowana's

I don't recommend you to put the silver arowana with the small dovii.  Unless, you want your dovii to become lunch/dinner.  Also, do not keep 2-4 arowanas in the same tank, they will kill each other.
-125 gallons: 1 SR Arowana, 1 red tail giant gouramy, 1 Giraffe Catfish.

-55 gallons: 18 clown loaches, 28 corydoras, 2 golden algae eaters, 3 moonlight gouramies, 6 tiger barbs.

          do not do this.
in a few weeks that dovii will be 6-7 "long and will be the crap out of tha arrow, and as a second note,a 125 is just big enough for one or the other [at adult size]
remember that dovii will get 18-24".

                Re: ? About Silver Arowana's

i wonder if there is a clip of an arrow snaging a bird
the problem w/ chicken wire is that its tacky. who want to look at a pond w/ that. no offence if you have done this.

                  Re: ? About Silver Arowana's

there used to be a clip on you tube from a national geo flick that showed an arrow jump out of the water and got a small crane[if i remember right] right out of a tree.

                      i got a 15" arowana

my new ? is since he has been added to the tank, he has been resting on the bottom of the tank.
                      is this normal?
hes not showing any signs of stress
ie; breathing heavilly, laying on his side.
he is just sitting  staight up on the bottom.
do they do this until they get used to the tank?

well, i my dovii is not as small as previosly guestimated
he is probably around 3.5", quickly going on 4"tl.
