The question was not really that specific... I replied the way I felt was suiting.

Darbex, your reply here was much less helpful then mine.   .... post whore.

            OK...

Good: It is lighter than glass.

Bad: Usually you are stuck with pre-cut holes on top that usually do not work well with HOB filters.  I understand that they scratch easier and in some cases turn a yellowish tint after som years.

Info is based on what I know to be true and what I've learned from others.

I have never seen these holes as mentioned...

Check with the guys over at SapphireAquatics.com or Nick at Fish Ranch II... SapphireAquatics made my custom wave tank and could not be more satisfied.

I have some 45 year old metal framed aquariums with Glass panels that are still in service.
I have some 35 year old all glass aquariums that are still in service.

But I don't have any plastic aquariums that are more than 5 years old.

Does any boxer have an old plexiglas tank - how old - how's it look ?
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
