which filter is better?

I got the 2262 from a homie hook up here and then the 2260 I traded from stuff I got here for like $37

I had a fluval and I hated it. The pump is on the bottom of the filter. So everything that settles on the bottom of the filter makes its way to the motor. Then you have to break it down to clean out/ replace the motor. I have had eheims ever since with no problems.

I think it boils down to this...

Either you bought an Eheim and love it or Payed too much for a FX5 to hate it.
