My cousin does it all the time, and we do with the aquarium in the back of the house. The only concern I'd have is in the summer when the water is really hot from the hose being outside.Our Fishhouse

i have done it since i started keeping fish, so 5 years, never any complaints:)
the only time i dont use it is when its cold during winter time. but a day like today, i wouldnt hesitate,m infact i am doing one on my 125g right now.FRENCH FRY!!!

attatch the python drain and fill to the hose, drain the tank, and then add the dechlorintor and fill the tank back up with the python still attatched to the water hose, it is faster, cause the outdoor hose has alot more water pressure than the home faucet.FRENCH FRY!!!
