Put it in a bag and bash it a few times against the wall.

this seems the fastest way to go,
personally i would rather be killed by a quick bash to a wall,
rather than freezing to death, being burned alive in bleach, drowning in freezing water, and it seems much less involved than mixing a euthinasia syrum for a FISH! i think quick and painless is the way to go here. it may seem inhumane, but would you rather get a leathal injection and or freeze to death? comon

clove oil works best if you can find it, just put your fish in a bucket and add it little by little. if you can't get clove oil, which you probably won't be able to, do the same thing but with amonia. I once had a 9" red devil that had punctured his side on a pointy shell decoration, he was laying on the bottom, bleeding, and the caks were circling like vultures, I took him out, put him in a bucket with enough water to cover his body, and I added a cup of amonia and then put the lid on to make it completely dark. every 10 minutes or so I would add anouther cup or so of amonia. after 3 cups he was gone, no splashes or anything. although I like jeffs idea if anyone has a bong big enough.

He was suffering really bad and blood was clouding up my tank. it was either that or pine o pine. besides, it was dilluted in water. it just made the suffering end quicker
