My wife decided she wanted to get a couple of red severums yesterday so we went to Fish Gallery and found about ten of them for $60 each. I asked him why so expensive and he told me some crap about "seasonal fish". Anyway, he ended up selling me 6 of them for $120, which i thought was a steal.
So, my wife went to go pick out the ones she wanted and i ventured off toward the plecos. The entire time, i never looked at the severums to check for disease, deformities, etc. It was Fish Gallery, i assumed things were on the up and up. So i get the fish home and realize that first, all of their fins are torn to shreds, one of them has something growing out of his eye, and then, they all have this slight indention in their foreheads. it looks like someone poked em in the head with a pencil.
Have you ever heard of this?
Should i take em back to Fish Gallery?
They are in a holding tank right now b/c i didnt know if what they had was contagious.
