Shrimp ?'s

i have a 125g with Geophagus, Fancy Plecos, Buenos Aires Tetras, and Australian Rainbos.

i would really like some shrimp in my tank aswell, but dont want them to become an expensive quick snack for my fish.

can someone reccomend some shrimp sp. that will work well in my tank?

I think with the Geophagus you won't have much luck unless they are some giant prawms or something.

Giant prawns are known to eat small fish. The prawns themselves could be killed by the fish after a molt.

if its a densely planted tank you might have enough survive the predators to keep a colony going.

you could prolly get a number of RCS for cheap/free from some folks on here.

OK, ghost shrimp. If they get eaten, you just buy more real cheap!

what about Bamboo Shrimp? i have a good current in the tank, would they do ok?

btw, the tank has no real plants, but i am thinking of adding some cabomba, frill, and hornwort.
