  • My "Black" Algea eating shrimp

    So I too have bought some of the "Black" shrimp that have hit town lately-

    Though at a distance these do look black- when you really look at them you cn see they are either dark blue with some red or dark red with some blue.

    The most pics have been contrast/brightness modified- sorry don't have a macro/micro lens to get great pics yet...

    Wow, those are really neat looking! I don't know much (okay, next to nothing) about shrimp...but I like how their carapace (if that's the right word) looks shinier than most I've seen.

        Man that red one looks kinda crazy!! I think I read that it could be from stress though.

        For the most part they look like the ones I got from Fish RanchII
