I gotta have some of these.
Jarrod - Houston, Texas
150 gallon - my African cichlid monster tank (I know it isn't a big as yours)
17 gallon - Threadfin rainbows and corys lightly planted
5 gallon - planted red cherry shrimp breeder
3 gallon - planted red cherry shrimp breeder
I see them on Aquabid regularly, but I have yet to psyche myself into setting up an entire Sulawesi themed tank. I think it would be interesting to do one of these days and I'm sure the Tylo's would love it.

I've got some . . . :) . . . and they're breeding regularly.
Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

I'll take a picture of it eventually . . . but it really isn't much to look at. Is is a 36" long 30g tank with a heater (set to 80F), Hydor ProQuatics 1600 canister filter (with a sponge prefilter and output pointed at the surface), PFS substrate, several rocks (that have algae growing on them at this point), 1 piece of driftwood, java moss, and random plant clipping tossed into the tank. Light is standard 36" fluorescent with a photoperiod of 8hrs. Tank inhabitants are Tylomelaneia snails and MTS(for feeding my assassins). I use tap water that has been run through a large carbon bottle and change about 40% every week. pH is 7.8-8

They do look similar to blood shrimp, with their deep red body and white extremities. They even carry nearly the same price tag. The only difference is that the freshwater variety is about 1/10 the size!!
