  • Hiep's Fluval Ebi Tank Journal

Hi everyone this is my first time posting here, I'm from Austin, but will be moving to cypress area in the winter.

Just wanna share with you guys my fluval ebi, i just did a re-scape and so i just thought i'd share with you guys some pictures of the progress

in the tank i have -
    -CRS/CBS (S+ - SSS grades)
    -Painted Fire red cherrys
    -boraras brigittae
    -pygmy cory
    -otocinclus

    plants
    -xmas moss
    -flame moss
    -riccia
    -fissidens
    -some kind of cypt.
    -narrow leaf java fern

here is a picture of the tank before the re-scape

drained the tank, added more substrate to create a slope, new rocks,

added the riccia carpet, just a bunch of riccia tied to flat peices of slate

    added the plants

tank filled, and water cleared up 24 hours later

i just ordered 15 painted fire reds and 10 SSS crystal reds, so excited to get them!

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Awesome. I wish my planted tank looked like that! However, my favorite is the Sonic drink in the background of the pic... combines 2 of my favorite things-- tanks and soda!

the moss on the wood has grown really nicely and really fast, trimmed once already.
replaced those dark rocks with ohko stone, replaced all the riccia with mini riccia, and added dwarf hairgrass to the background. tank is looking nicer and nicer every day!
