Ahh, bumping 3 month old threads back from the dead...
I think the galaxy rasbora will be okay with shrimp, however if you're serious about breeding then NO fish at all.

still relevant threads are still relevant, i have never understood the aversion to bumping a thread that already has good info in it. starting a new thread means the same questions will pop up again and i will be admonished for not searching the forum first lol. well they are breeding so thats a good point. i am looking for something to add in there to help clean up uneated food on the substrate a bit other than nerites.

My yellow shrimp breed very well in a tank with ruby tetras, boraras brigittae (chilis), and microneons. There's also a kuhli loach in there and he doesn't bother the shrimp or shrimplets at all. I have a nice thicket of Christmas moss in there and the babies hide and are virtually invisible til they're big enough to not be eaten. I don't have experience with CRS but I would imagine you could breed them if your tank had very small fish in there with them... small fish with small mouths!
          All bleeding stops eventually...

These Alien Shrimp are freshwater shrimp who catch, and eat, fish. They will eat anything you put in for them, actually, almost literally. But in the wild ...

I think Assassin snails would work good or tylos, that's what I have in my tank and they work great.

i do want some nerites but then the assassins would eat them wouldnt they? maybe i dont need nerites in a shrimp tank though and just having assassins and white pearl shrimp together will take care of algae on the plants and leftovers in the substrate? I am going to see tim tonight hopefully so i am trying to decide before then. i really like the orange rabbits but i am being told tylos may eat plants?

I have nerites together with assassins in my tropheus tank, never seen any attacks happen myself.
