    ADA 90P Sulawesi Build.

    Well, Ive been slowly getting rid of all the ridiculous hoarding items so now Im only going to keep 3-4 show tanks. Three ADA, One ADG tank, and one ELOS tank. The first will be this ADA 90p. They like high PH so naturally the Im going with Pool Filter Sand, Seiryu Rocks to raise the PH, and maybe some driftwood or plants if I can maintain the 8.0+ph. IF not, the plants and wood will have to go. Its going to take a a long time but its going to be done right the first time.

    does seiryu raise ph by alot? i keep wondering why my CRS tank's pH keeps going back up to 8.0 even though i constantly add buffer to try to lower it.

    by the way i'd really like to buy some stones from you if you dont mind letting some go. maybe 15 or so lbs

      Seiryu does raise the ph. Thats why a lot of planted folks/shrimp folks don't like to use them. They do look awesome though.

        im doing a rescape with seiryu and fluval substrate, do you think the substrate will be able to counterbalance the seiryu as far as pH goes?

          The rocks would only effect/buffer at a minimal if you are using tap water and with the substrate I think it will be able to over come what little the rocks effect.

            im using RO water remineralized with Mosura Mineral somthing

              In that case I think you are good to go, I really doubt the difference will be noticeable or even testable.

                I changed my mind. Set up a custom ADG 33 gallon for the sulawesi cardinals instead. the 90p will most likely just be full blown planted tank. IFFFFFF I ever sell enough of my crap to fund it.
