Anyone ever try a 10 gallon tank with just a sponge filter and black petsmart gravel? I figure my tap water pH is 7.2, there's not much to worry about right? I got a few extra 10 gallons, sponge filters, and multi output air pump. Was thinking about a shrimp rack.
Also, how big should a sponge filter be for a 10 gallon shrimp tank? I mean, how much bio load could 100 shrimps output in 10 gallons?
Let me hear your thoughts and advices.
