  • Seachem flourish for a shrimp, snail and planted tank

will Seachem Flourish harm my shrimp? if yes, is there any good fertilizer that wont, I am only supplementing my plants with Iron and well light and CO2, also the tank is a refugium for chiclid tank so there is no lack of nitrates, but want to add more fertilizer but not sure if it will harm my inverts.

    I have 2 vamp, shrimp.
    4 ghost.,
    5 cherry,
    5 orange bee.
    3 mistery snails
    2 nerites
    1 thrumpet Snail

I use Seachem's Flourish, Excel, Trace, Tablets, Iron, Nitrate, and Potassium with no ill effects whatsoever. I have heard that some of those can alter your water chemistry and Ph (will increase it slightly) and with CRS, Tiger, and their relatives this might be an issue in a very small tank. With Red Cherry and other Neocardinia this will not be any sort of issue. I also dose a small amount of Iodide for the shrimp and have never had any issue with molting or finickiness, though there are arguments abroad concerning Iodide in FW systems for shrimp. Many argue it does nothing, but once I bought it I hate seeing it never get used, but if there is a significant difference I could not really tell you.
