just some advice, don't bury the crypts too for down into the sand, it'll compact and kill the plant

yep found that out the hard way. the sand already was seeded with bacteria so I didn't want to take it out or anything. They're pretty much just placed at the top and I lightly drifted sand on the roots.

Yea, I got 2 300 gallons for cichlids and i just got a 100 G for shrimp . I'm gonna try the rcs first to see if they go for it before getting the nice stuff.
