Yeah, one of about 4 or 5 in that tank. I got them at about 1", but now they are pushing 2 1/2" to 3"

Yes, they are getting pretty monstrous. Probably all that Shirakura thieving. Ek, you having any luck with all those samples? Find anything the skrimps go crazy for yet?

Agreed, the two mating on the glass give a good clue to what all the little white specks are...!

Thanks. The glass is pretty scratched up , but the inhabitants seem happy enough. The amanos seem to color up really well in there.

I've found which one my snails love! I just did the rescape so the tank is layered in sediment, right now the shrimp are going nuts over all that.

                      lol. It's what snails crave...

Let us know if you end up trying one the little shrimp like- the amanos go crazy for this stuff, but I wouldn't mind finding something quality that the RCS want to pig out on. I love to see that gimmie-gimmie behavior when I feed!

So far the Omega shrimp pellets is what gets them the most but being the protein food it's supposedly not good as a staple. Next up I would say the Azoo Max foods cause its price and they actually go looking for the stuff when it hits the water.

hmm, i can confirm that my snowballs love the azoo shrimp pellets too along with hikari bottom feeder discs but i feed sparingly. i have had an oak leaf suspended in there for a week now and while they pick at it they dont seem to be eating it.

We feed them pretty sparingly in the 10g too, there is just so much for them to pick over in there. I just started keeping some RCS in the kitchen, separate from the Amanos...the Shirakura is just too big (and hard to crush) to drop for >10 cherries, and while they do okay the Fluval shrimp granules I ended up with, if I can find something better they'll go nuts over, I'll switch them. Thanks, guys!
