they hatch about 1 month or so ago. i believe they were eaten, or the batch was drop. i was given them and they were berried already so the stress of the new tank and stuff.75g Tank,

All joking aside, they were healthy when we gave 'em to you. And also, didn't you move them to another fresh tank shortly afterwards?..Shrimp really need stability. Established tank, lots of hiding places if you're going to keep them with other fish. That's our guess, Rick.Last edited by Gene D; 03-21-2012, 10:05 PM."I think that God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability." -Oscar Wilde

hey, be nice with the name calling.
nah the tank was nicely cycle. you guys gave me 5 or 6 of them and 5 were berried. the biggest female dies by the next morning. Roy told me they tend to do that when they are adults and berried. the remaining were still berried, 3 weeks later i did see more than 2 shrimplets in the tank but they started not showing. i was told they were hidding, but i have always said that i believe my endlers eat them. then i move the shrimps from the 3.5 to the 10 thats when i found 2 of the shrimplets had survived as they had stayed on the moss of the 3.5. all shrimp are healthy and happy. the other day i think i saw one berried but im not sure.75g Tank,

I'm just trying to be realistic. If the tank wasn't up and running for 2 months solid, or you have no test kit to confirm, chances are it was a cycling issue. Stress happens, but jumping from stable tank to stable tank usually doesn't cause that big of an issue, just sayin! Hey, whatever, that's done now.
We are glad they are all doing well now, hopefully you've got a berried up female which will be the first of many...!"I think that God, in creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability." -Oscar Wilde

There are a few tanks that were rid of RCS about a month ago and till this day we are still netting out RCS babies... sigh. I sat in front of Kiko's tank for about an hour the other night and netted out abou 50rcs babies to get rid of since the Red Rilis are in there.
uncycled or unstable tank would indeed cause a good about of stress to have a shrimp drop her eggs or even reduce the survival rate of new babies.
