Got these guys in today and drip acclimating them in Kiko's tank... forgot I ordered these and impulsed bought the puffer so didn't have a place to put them so I have plagued Kiko with them.

i thought that there was an issue with them breeding true? am i mistaken?

No, these breed true but just not perfect all the time, you have to "cull" out the lower grades so you get the perfect head/tail piece rilis.

A lot of the shrimp have grades or quality, they are linebred so you cull any imperfections or weak coloring in hopes of getting cleaner/brighter/solid shrimp in the future.

The rilis you want a solid head and tail coloration with clear body.

With the crs you have the grades, those that keep higher grade will cull out the lower grade and pawn off on those that want them.

they arent a new subspecies are they? i was thinking they were just a color morph like the RCS. this is kinda cool, i dont know if i am willing to try CRS yet and this may be a more forgiving version of them

i have seen Rili Shrimp go higher than CRS. and there is also a Blue Rili type.
