Should have seen all the ones i got from bolo... small 1x2 piece of sponge and there were almost hundreds i there!

Haha yeh I need to put a sponge on that inflow pipe. Getting too loud.

Yea I have one of these boxes too. Way too loud. What I did on mine is add a small sponge filter instead of the cheesy intake that was supplied with it. What's annoying is the gurgle that comes from the water splashing in the res.

Q, what did you do to silence yours?

I ran mine with minimal air which drew the most water current so it is almost silent. There's a little piece of coarse sponge but more of a filtering thing for me now.

The ultimate fix is to run a tiny fountain pump to trickle water into the box. W

When I get my next allowance I want to upgrade mine.

The cheap air valve that came with it leaked from day one. Its actually three pieces. Probably cheaper to make that way. Ill just glue it back together... try to reduce the airflow.

yeah you need to control the flow, it's stupid noisy otherwise.

i have that flow noise and my damn lily pipes gushing water. water evaps to damn quick
