At which point are the eggs fertilized?

        1. Before saddle appears
        2. When saddled
        3. When berried
        4. Only after being berried

From what I have read... all of the above.

I have some small RCS about 3/8" that are berried and some Snowball shrimp that are about 1/2" that are also berried.

water is too clean, they don't feel the need to procreate in order for species survival.

Not instinct to breed to keep species alive but just to breed.
