Hahaha one is the shrimp from fluval and the other is the plant substrate that comes with the fluval eco terra??? I think that is what it is called....came with CO2 also. The Fluval plant tank came with the plant bulb also. I didn't need to add any fancy lighting.
I prob have 9 or 10 different species of shrimp and aside from a green shrimp which arrived berried and DEAD... not much procreating aside from the cherries hahaha. I do have some super reds to brighten my cherries up.

        Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

The bamboos are my favorite at the moment
I can reach into the tank with the Bamboos and pick one up and they are so calm and gentle. Watching their front "fans" is better than watching tv. The spin the fans, grasp anything floating around in the current, and pop it into their mouths. That is their entire existence.
I almost wish I had a brackish tank to encourage possible reproduction even though in captivity it isn't very successful.

Awesome pics! And yeah, the substrate looks pretty nice too. And man I love those cross L144 plecos... they're frikkin cute and have tons of personality. I have one that loves to spar with my dwarf compressiceps male. :)
