Too much Flow! Bad or Good?

Ok so I just added one of those zoomed 501 nano filters to my 3g pictope shrimp tank.

Noticed the flow was a lil much is this ok for the shrimp? They don't seem to be
affected at all.

I have med/high flow in my shrimp tank, shrimp are unfazed, and these are CRS. If they look unaffected they probably are, plus it helps the water stay more oxygenated.

Oh I had the same problem weeks ago, they're more active due to the increased water movement. They'll all settle down within three days max.

I love the 501 Pumps, so small and good for Nano tanks.

I had the 511? on a 45F and the shrimp loved it.

Once they become use to the flow they settle down as stated above.

Sweet! Thanks everybody that's what I wanted to hear. Didn't want to have to take it back lol.

And I did notice the shrimp being more active and I have the spraybar facing up to break the surface. So I guess I'm ok? Thanks Joseph!

i had a 511 on my 10 gallon and didnt think it was enough flow. i have a emperor 280 on it now and they seem to do okay with all that so the 501 should be great.

I put dwarf shrimp in my river tank for fish to eat. Some haven't been eaten but they seem fine with all the flow I have in my tank...

It is just cherry shrimp and malawa shrimp... I have tons of them in two other tanks... I have raised them and I know what condition they are in.

You can't really have too much flow... besides, the critters are easier to watch when they're pinned against the front glass.
