  • Shrimp Tanks and Others

So Yeah, these are my tanks. Still new to the hobby, got into this stuff just 6 months ago.

This is my CRS and Rili Planted Tank. 5-6g Panorama.

This one is my very first shrimp tank ever. It just has Rili Fries in it now.

This is going to be the Rili's new home.

    Some other pictures.

Most of these shrimps came from Tim and Rob. All this in 6 months beginning with my first purchase from Tim.

Love the Pokeman poster behind the tank, so should use that as a background!!!! Great looking tanks and shrimp!!!! Are you using Co2 injection?

No CO2 surprisingly, some people were astonished at their growth rate with a single bulb and no CO2.

Right on! I'm a fan of low tech all the way, just dosing with Excel and carefully watching light cycle/parameters can get decent results indeed

                  +1 for low-tech!

I love the pic of the CRS marching along the wood...great shot!

Wow, that's an impressive collection for only being in the hobby 6mo, the shrimp are beautiful and look happy. You've got me thinking I need some more shrimp...

I don't have money like everyone else so I use what is cheap and effective.
The wood was some vines I found in a park one rainy day and all the shrimps love crawling all over it. I'm thinking of going back there again to get some more, they have nice shape and are already dead.

Meh. Not everyone on here is as ballin' as they make out to be. We choose low tech because we like it, not because we have to. As you say, simple and effective.

Good find on the wood, it does have great shape. I wonder what it is... grapevine, maybe?

Looks nice! . . . better than mine.

The shrimps seem to be multiplying and happy . . . that is the most important part.

They're small tanks. Nothing as big as yours.

Bigger isn't always better. I've seen plenty of crappy big tanks.

                            :)

True, though yours still beats that standard.
