I remember back in highschool, my aquatic science teacher told the class that there was a university out there that is producing an artificial clear-like sponge to support these shrimps so they could study more about them. Don't remember the university, but still, these are awesome.
If these can be kept alive without a spongey home, I would definitely start a salt tank.
